Is there such a thing as a bike (bicycle) with an electric motor that you can also pedal at the same time that the motor is working? So you are still getting a workout but the motor will just make you faster. If so, where do you buy them? How much should they cost? Any other details?
Yes, they do exist. We sell them at the bike shop where I work. Basically what they are is an electric bicycle. The top speed I've seen is 20MPH unassisted. Which means that with the motor alone, the fastest you could go is 20 MPH. Assisted, or with you pedaling as well, you can push it to high speeds. We have a couple different selections and they range from 349.99 to 1299.99 depending on the materials and power. You should go to a bike shop for something like this.
They are called mopeds. Not sure where you can get them.
