Bicycle thump every revolution?

My bicycle makes a thump every few feet I pedal. It starts once I am going faster than jogging speed. It is not a flat tire, the tires are inflated, and they don't rub against the brakes or any other part of the bike. From the feeling under my seat, I'm guessing it relates to the back tire, but I can't find any abnormalities. It seems to coincide with a thump every full revolution of the tires. Any thoughts?

Most like likely a flat spot on the rear rim. That may or may not be adjustable via spoke tension.

Another possibility is a sticky link in the chain.
The problem is definitely in the wheels. Tip the bike on its handle bars and seat and spin the wheels. I am sure you will find your problem.

It is either the tire or the tube.

the important question - which you answered - is....does the abnormality occur once every pedal stroke or once every wheel revolution. generally, once per stroke puts the problem in the drivetrain, once per rev puts it in the wheels. the fun problems occur when it's neither and you need to do some real sleuthing. sounds like your tube or tire...you can start by reseating them.
