Do dreams about flying have different meanings? |
I often dream that I fly, well actually more like float. I start walking, then when I feel that I start to ascend, I move my legs as if pedaling a bicycle. The more I move my legs the higher I levitate and sometimes I want to hang on to something because sometimes the levitation is involuntary, but other times I do it on purpose because I want to fly. And I can actually feel a flying sensation. I have heard that this has to do with something sexual, but I remember dreaming about flying since I was 6 years old, so that may not be the case. I have also heard that the sensation is caused by not having pressure on the soles of your feet when sleeping, and then the most acclaimed, that the spirit leaves the body. What do you think causes someone to dream that they fly? Can you also answer my other question about dreams? I asked it too late at night, and I only have one answer. You call this an out of body experience and I too have had similar dreams of flying or rising and this is something spiritual and not physical happenings. The flying sensation is the spirit moving without the body. This has nothing to do with sex. Perhaps it is something we pray about or wanting to understand and this is God's way of revealing. But I too would also like to know of the actual meaning of flying which is the spirit moving. well, most of the reasons why you are flying in your dream is because you are in an uncomfortable situation right now and sometimes you just want to escape from it.. flying literally means, flying away from your problems:) I am very good with Dream Interpretation because I used to have the "Nostradamus Dream Interpretation Book"-and I found the book to be 100% accurate in my own life. Nostradamus was the man who predicted World War 1 & 2--and he predicted JFK being killed. In the 1500's Nostradamus wrote down a list of dream interpretations, and the actual list was located in an attic in Germany a few years ago. Ok--according to Nostradamus--any dream of seeing yourself flying is a GREAT SIGN that you are going to be Sucessful. So, I dont know who you are or what you do--but you are either very sucessful, or you are going to be soon. |
