This is from the 50's or 60's. A child on a bicycle (tricycle?) will be hit by a truck at an intersection. Somehow, time is stopped (by an alien?). The parent (mother, I think) uses a belt tied on the bike's pedal (?) to change the direction of the bicycle, saving the child. Maybe "One Step Beyond" or "The Outer Limits"? Thanks for reading--Deb
Outer limits - a man is temporarily stuck in time. kid on a tricycle ready to run in front of a truck..the situation agonizes the man greatly - then somehow gets a chance to correct things - gets a set belt from a car attaches it to the hub of truck wheel and the other end to parking brake of truck time kicks back in, belt pulls on brake, truck stops, kid ok. or it might have been twilight zone. But I remember that scene. |
