Bike problems?

whenever i pedal my bike, the pedals are loose but the chain and the wheels are fine. do you know what's wrong????

Your pedals could actually be loose. They are easy to check anyways. Get a hex wrench and tighten the right pedal to the right and the left pedal to the left.

More seriously, your bottom bracket assembly may have loosened, and less seriously your chain could be a few links too long.

You should include the type of bike and a better description of what you mean by "loose pedals".

I'm sure there is something more than just the pedals loose. What exactly is moving around when it is not supposed to be?
your chain is loose just get it tightened
bent crank or bent pedal axle
The bearings in your pedals may be loose or if your chainring wobbles if you shake it, then your cranks may be loose. Your pedals might have fallen off by now if the thread was actually loose.

It might be a combination of either, take the bike to a bike shop, they will diagnose the problem and fix it for ya.
