How can i fix this problem? any ideas? |
when iam riding my bike, the gears automatically change without my will. it will shift to the next higher one when iam pedalling. it always happen and i have to struggle. It is possible that your cable is loose and needs to be tightened. If you have a screwdriver, a pliers and a monkey wrench, you can adjust this yourself. Your bindex has a loose spring. Replace it. The linkage needs to be adjusted... take it to a bike shop. sounds like the shifter lever is loose. should be a screw holding the lever on just tighten it with a screwdriver. you need to lube the cable, might have gotten wet and is binding when you change gears. |
