You forget your combination lock for your bike what can you do to unlock your bike? |
you are at the libary Take it to a repair shop and get it taken off? Or do it yourself. What kind of lock? Is it a 3 character or 4 character 'barrel' lock? I've done this several times - from one year to the next. You can try playing with the combo with all of the possible combinations you can think of and it may eventually work.... or, you can do what I did and finally purchased a lock with a key and got the other combo locks cut off. Most good lock companies (Kryptonite, OnGuard, etc.) will let you register your combination/key with them in case you forget it. You can just call them up and they'll tell you the combo/ send you a new key free of charge. Next time get a good lock. If this is a combination lock then most likely it is your b'day, year of birth, the three initials of your mobile. Look for a car full of shady people hanging out in the alley and ask to borrow their bolt cutters..... Stop thinking about the combination and try and viualize the last time you used it. What you were doing, where you were, etc. Maybe it will trigger a memory. if its atached to your front wheel take the rest of the bike off and pop a wheelie on the way home then come back with a lock breaker try looking for the paper with the combination! or break the lock! Well since you "forget your combination lock for your bike " You dont have a problem since your lock is not here. call security and tell them you cannot remember combo. they usually have one of those big lock breakers Get a book out on "how to break bicycle lock codes" by U.R.1. You will have to cut the lock off probably. Cut the lock, or walk home. borrow a hammer or hacksaw from the library chain cutters :P ask a bum |

A lot of people do it, but if anyone ever steals or vandalizes your lock it would be a real hassle.
