Can i leave my bike lock around a public bike lock area? |
Its annoying having to carry my bike lock around all the time so i was wondering if i could leave it locked up around a public bike lock area. Especially as a good bike lock weighs a lot and i ride to work almost everyday. A lot of people do it, but if anyone ever steals or vandalizes your lock it would be a real hassle. I'd say get a better way to carry it. That's about as secure as it's going to get-- if someone could get it off, they probably would have stolen your bike already. I've seen lots of people do it, so you're good. Just make sure you can tell which one's yours. Yes, lots of people do it for the same reason. I've never heard of a lock left like this being stolen or being removed by a highway authority. keep a small lock on your bike all the time on the go... Lots do this. i personally would just do it. but obviously at your own risk. just go for it, nobody is gonna care |
