Skateboards?????

i walk or ride my bike to school, and i want to get a skateboard so i can get home faster without having to take a bike and lock it up and stuff. i need one thats small enough to fit inside my locker, which is a fullsize highschooll locker that i share with my friend.

i basicaly know nothing about skateboards and any information about it would be great. i dont suck at skatboarding because im a realy good snowboarder, but i want to get one!

online? trucks? wheels? help!

btw what price am i looking at and how big? are there different sizes?

Go to Walmart or KMart and get one of those mini ones. I did this a few years too, they are like 12 inches top, so they fit with room to spare in a locker. The only thing you may want to do is get some bearings and wheels, because the ones I bought were plastic.

1) if you know nothing (including how to ride one) then stop now
2) a BIKE is the fastest non-automobile transperation known.
3) skate boards are not made for transporation
4) The time it takes to go home on a skateboard will be much longer than it will be to get your bike unlocked and on the road.

Yeah just get a mini-logo blank, some store brand trucks, some Reds Bearings (cheap, and really good), any wheels are fine, and get risers.
