School Cut my Bike Lock? |
My school cut my bike lock today (a 20$ masterlock which i got 2 weeks ago) because i accidentally locked it around some other guy's bike... But they would know that i would come out and unlock it after school... so why rush things aww - that does seem a bit harsh, maybe they should have put out an announcement asking you to come and unlock it. Still, at least you'll never do it again i guess You "accidentally" locked your lock around someone else's bicycle and you wonder if they had the right to cut the lock off? Are you really that naive or what?!?!? They don't have to guess who the lock belongs to, they just cut it off so the student could get his bicycle. Frankly, I think you're lucky you aren't in jail. um, i think they had the right to cut the lock. the person needed their bike THEN and how would they know when you'd come back and who you even were!??!!? Just go buy another lock and be more careful how you lock it up next time-lesson learned! Can you honestly not put yourself in others shoes to understand their point of view?!? Most major bike lock manufacturers have a guarantee with them. Send off the broken lock and get a replacement :) ummm they would have to cut the lock because you locked it around someone elses bike |
