Friends parents are crazy control freaks help?

started our parents were same. we got caught drinking an puled over by cops. her parents wouldnt let her do ANTYTHING grounded or not. I blame her 4being a dumbass nd doing it over again, id b smart about it and stopped getin in trouble. i figure shes just more disciplined, but she cant take it, she gets mad depressed when she finds out sumthin she missed, nd understand she feels her lifes passing her by. She needed to get it into order and now has no missing assignments now her parents are crazy her mom had to get a job- shes never home nd her dads a control freak and forces her to do things or gets mad nd has hurt her 4times her counselor brought the police in now he wont drive her home from school so if she has to stay after for something she walks three hours to get home. This mornin she missed the bus n he left w/o her wen a ride woulda been easy and told her to ride her bike. he locked her out last night in the cold nd grounded her 4 not doin dishes after her three hour walk HELP

I am sorry to hear about your friend. I don't know how old your friend is but some of the things you mentioned could be considered child abuse. I would tell your friend to report any thing she thinks is abuse, be smart about it and don't lie. Talk to you guidance counselor at school and bring in some outside help. If she can prove there is abuse she may be able to emancipate herself meaning she would legally be responsible for herself. If she is able to stick it out till she is at least 18 that would probably be your best bet. I had it rough when I was young too. I did a lot of things to upset my parents but it is not the end of the world. In time your parents will forgive you and life does get better. I don't suggest drinking under age and driving, that鈥檚 not very adult like. Tell your friend to hang in there. I will pray for you both.

to make it easier on her

her parents are INSANE
i had a friend like that but she was too scared to tell anyone
u should tell ur friend 2 report anything that is considered abuse before its 2 late
