1994 ninja zx-9 will not crank just a click?

is my motor done 1994ninja zx9 willnot crank and bike will not move in gear is it locked up ty tim please help

Will it go into neutral?If so,put it in neutral,pull the crank end cover off, get a wrench,and try to turn the motor over with it by hand.If it won't go into neutral,disconnect the chain and try the same proceedure.If it won't turn over by hand,get a can of Marvel Mystery Oil and squirt it into the cylinder(s) area.Let it sit overnight and then try to start it.If it will turn over the next day it will mean that the rings were stuck to the cylinder walls.try this first in an attempt to diagnose the issue.It may free it up but you'll probaby still have to bore it out and or replace the rings.

Everything below is assuming you are SURE your battery is not low.

my old GSXR used to do that from time to time i would just
put it in 1st and rock it HARD forward and back then put it
back in neutral and crank it again. A bike with a bad starter will still pop start and run fine. Just have a friend push you up to a good run and click it into first and pop the clutch. Also you can tell if your motor is seized by shifting it all the way up to sixth and pushing it. a motor that is not seized will easily roll over in sixth. remember it will not shift through the gears with rolling forward as you shift, no clutch. Getting help with this always makes it easier. if you do all this and it rolls in any high gear but still clicks you're just gonna need a starter and possibly a fly wheel if it was chipped.

Sounds like your going to have to buy a motor.

Yeah.....it's seized.......start checking Ebay for a new one.
