How do I remove a u-lock, from my bike in which I have the key, but the lock is threaded? |
I was given this older bike (very nice bike), by my boss (it had been unused, in her garage for several years) and she had left a u-lock, locked, through the frame and front tire. When I went to use the key, it just spins in the hole and apears to be not moving and possibly threaded? Definetely do not use a chain saw. Use an electric grinder. Any good bike shop should have one and be able to get it off for you strong bolt cutters you will need to get a electric grinder into that. Chop it off wit a chain saw... |
