she knows what wrong is... but she doesnt care at all......she has no respect

Wow. I am disgusted by the absolute lack of compassion for your dog.

First of all, a dog cannot be "retarded". Your dog is NOT "dense".

She does NOT know when she's done something wrong.

Locking her outside, and hitting her are NOT ways to get her to do what you want her to do.

Get her enrolled in obedience training classes. That will mostly teach YOU how to teach your dog. Which you obviously need. I highly recommend getting a trainer.

obedience training, enroll her in class if you have no clue where to start. I've had many dogs before until recently i got a rambunctious dog, started him with obedience training and you would not believe the results - he was far easier to train than any of my other dogs, now when i walk him, if i stop, he will immediately sit - give it a try u'll be impressed, of course it takes a lot of time and consistency

obedience training can also take place in the home first doesn't have to be outside, In fact i prefer inside the home since there are less distractions. This is how i usually start off, but if there are other methods you want to try or go with that works those are fine to, whichever suits u best. I put my dog in a room separate from other dogs (distraction) close the door and put on a leash. i start with the sit command. I say sit and pat his bottom to guide him to sit - as you do this you might want to do a hand command at the same time (all my dogs can also read hand commands specific to me) the moment his bottom touches the floor you give him a reward (small treat and a pat on the head, you can even use clickers for this if you want so the dog can associate click = good = treat). continue with sit until ur dog fully understands this before moving onto the next command down. For down it ups the anti. you put the treat on the floor, cover it with your hand, your dog may lays his front paws down but still have his butt up in the air, you can guide him down by apply pressure to his rear end, the moment he is in the down position then remove ur hand from the treat and give it to him. As your dog understands more and more about obedience training you can start to take him outside and try obedience. By doing this you are generalizing to a different environment so he understands he needs to be obedient outside too.

believe it or not dogs are fast learners, you have a lab husky mix, a best of both worlds. why? labs are highly intelligent, huskies are highly active (good if you are an outdoor person like me). however for huskies they need to be worked, they have a lot of energy, if you don't tell them what to do they will test your patience which i believe is what your dog is doing right now, also why i recommended obedience training first. you do need to excercise her - i hike 4 miles with my dogs and they're only corgis, i suggest you bike with your dog once you have obedience completed, but not until then, you need to teach her to stay by your side because you don't want her pulling you off ur bike, she's a strong dog.

everytime she does something good, reward her with a treat. when she is disobedient, look in her eyes and point firmly to her nose and say "NO!" firmly as well.
try making her feel like you are mad at her. my dog is the same way. she keeps barking at people outside and we try to make her stop by doing this, and it's working! :) good luck

One thing is how YOU and the other people dealing with her are... not just how you behave, but also what you are feeling. Our emotions are something that our dogs can read without us saying a word. You MUST remain calm and not allow yourself to get upset, frightened, angry, etc when she gets freaked out... if you show you are a stable leader, she will respect you. Honestly, humans have to prove that they are leader material and even in the face of an angry dog, you have to keep your cool... I think she just knows she can get away with being the pack leader...

ADD: Part of being a calm and assertive pack leader is never losing your temper, no hitting your dog...

I love Cesar Millan (this is going to get me thumbs down :) )
So I really do feel like you should watch The Dog Whisperer to get a visual idea of what I'm talking about. Some things you will definately need intervention with, but other things you can do right now...

Your abusing your dog and wondering why she has so many problems? **roll eyes**

I think YOU are the one who is dense.. all the problems your dog is having are directly linked to your behaviour. Hitting your dog, spanking your dog and yelling at your dog are all aggressive. So of course thats how your dog treats you, you taught her to act that way. She responds with aggression because you act with aggression, you need to teach the dog what she should do instead of just punishing her.. If your dog is chewing something you don;t just smack it you show her what she is allowed to chew. As for the fearful behaviour about leaving the yard well maybe if you stopped using aggression to try and beat your dog into understanding you should work with her and coax her gently. The dog doesn't have a problem, you have a problem.. you don't know how to train a dog!

PS Dogs don't "know" what wrong is, they only know what you teach them is acceptable and unacceptable, because you attach positive and negative results to each one. By negative I don;t mean hitting and yelling.
