When i try to pushstart my ttr50 the back tire just locks up & wont spin i have no elec. start or kick start? |
here is my process for starting the bike.... 1.turn switch on 2.take to top of hill 3.roll down hill till i think i have enough speed 4.switch into 1st gear. usually this works and starts the bike right away. but the last few times i have tried to start it the back tire just locks up. it rolls in neutral... what is happening!!!!!!!!!!!! here is my process for starting the bike.... 1.turn switch on 2.take to top of hill 3.roll down hill till i think i have enough speed 4.switch into 1st gear. usually this works and starts the bike right away. but the last few times i have tried to start it the back tire just locks up. it rolls in neutral... what is happening!!!!!!!!!!!! it should bump in first..try second or third...if the back wheel still skids then your engine is sized solid..remove plug and pore in some diesel..leave it for a while,put in tn second gear and rock back and froo and it should reliese but may snap a ring... Put it in higher gear. You don't have to get the engine turning fast, just get it to turn over a few times to inhale gas/fuel mixture and light it off with the spark. try a higher gear like 2nd or 3rd the engine wont turn over as fast but the tire to motor rpm is higher making the engine easier to turn....good luck Wheel locking means engine won't turn over. Maybe the recent work was flawed. sounds like bad news.your engine could be seized. good luck |
