Can you help me identify what brand of italian bicycle I have.?

I want to restore this bike, and Im looking for the correct stickers/emblems,but I need to know what brand is the bike. At the bike shop they said it was definetely Italian, because of the frame where rear wheel locks in. it is stamped in the frame Campagnolo. It has heart emblems pressed in the frame at various locations and painted in. Also the bottom bracket has a cut out that looks like a jewish star emblem and the inner edges of it are painted, possibly factory design??? frame and forks have reynolds 531 stickers on them. full campagnolo,deraillers,shifters,hubs,cran... & pedals.I just had the bottom bracket set replaced originally said sugino italy. The bottom bracket set thread was 68 X 113 MM. And stamped on the bottom of frame says 11 - 3 - 69. On the front frame of the bike the sticker was removed and it looks like I O or J O or C O .It is quite hard to read. I have pics of the bike I was hoping to put them on here but looks like that option is unavailable thanks

Thanks for all the input people. Ive just uploaded photos on http://www.flickr.com/csrwstrht/my italian bicycle.I hope you can see them. Also where do you think I could buy the original stickers/emblems for the bike.

The only Italian bike with heart emblems that springs to my mind is De Rosa!

Here is a quick link:

They have been around a long time and make nice bikes, I can only apologise for not researching more but I have to go shopping now!!

Hope I've pointed you in the right direction, if you search the web you may find more info.

Best of luck mate!

.

My guess is De Rosa as well, but I'm not a roadie so what do I know.

possibly Colnago?

DeRosa traditionally uses a Heart logo. Don't think it is a Colnago - they use a Club emblem.

Pictures would be more definitive.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like a De Rosa. Look at the rear derailer mount for numbers or possibly a word other than Campagnolo stamped on it. You may need to remove a little paint if its too thick to read. Some of the old Italian bike have the maker stamped there.

You can post pics at flckr from your Yahoo account.
