what are the advantages of the 08 rockshox SID race over the 07 rockshox SID race??
thinking of getting the SID race.
but 07 does not seems to have remote locker while 08 one have.
but 08 one is in blue which totally don't match my bike frame
does the 07 sid race have remote lock out?
so, what are the advantages of the 08 rockshox SID race over the 07 rockshox SID race?
and does 07 sid race have remote lock-out?
if not, possible to add one myself? yes, the 08 is having blue SID
its said to be BETTER than the old one
there is no motion control for 07 one
but there is for 08.
in my opinion, go for 08
its always better to use a newer product
no company will make a product lousier than their previous one. Hi, you appear to have confused a wrong model somewhere here, Rock Shox have done a rare but noble thing and kept their 2008 range EXACTLY the same as their 2007 range.
The SID RACE only has rebound adjustment and therefore lockout is not possible with this model - in order to have a lockout feature the fork generally must have adjustable low speed compression in the first place; a lockout option is not listed as a possible option for this model either.
The SID races are silver in the UK, I don't know where you come from though, but SIDs haven't been blue for a while . Some variations may occur between models such as additional v-mounts and these variables can be seen under the options section on the rock shox website product specifications. We know you're a roadie posing as a mountain biker, because real mountain bikers don't worry about whether or not their forks match their frames.
To any actual mountain bikers that happen upon this post, here's my advice:
Get a bad-ss fork, keep it light, and ride hard. |
