i bought this bike and it didnt come with a key for the voltage meter next to the radio it im thinking the radio has to be locked into that!! local lock smith doesnt work on bikes I had an '82 and its been a number of years. It didn't have a volt meter.
When I needed to remove the radio I first removed the left storage compartment (to access the wiring) and the left turn signal housing.
The radio had a bracket at the rear as well as the nuts behind the tuning knobs holding it in. I reached in the fairing through hole for the turn signal to get to the hardware and wiring at the rear of the radio. |
