What is the name of the brackets on the bottom of a ZXR 400?

On the bottom of my ZXR 400 L9 there are two brackets that lock the bottom two fairings together (like a thin strip of aluminium/metal with two holes in it where screws go into the left and right fairing. Mine have frayed and need to get new ones to stop excess stress on the bike.

Al,,
Kawasaki refers to those lower cowling brackets as

"BRACKET,LOWER COWLING"

LOL,,,a creative bunch ,aren't they?? :)

There's an individual part number for each,,
Left and Right side.

They seem to be priced at approx $10 US dollars each.

.................
I cannot see ZXR 400 model specifically here in the States.
But all the similar US Models use similar parts.

If you cannot happen to locate any original spares from a Kawasaki Dealership....
(that sort of Item is usually "Dealer Only"--no aftermarket parts).......
.it looks like it would be easy enough to fabricate something workable with common tools & materials.

Good Luck with it.
George and Mildred? Morecome and Wise? Little and Large? Cannon and Ball? I really don't know.
thats the pistons mate ask kawasaki for some theyve got loads they dont need ,you get them for nothing.
Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
It's simply called a lower cowling bracket.
That model wasn't available in the US, so I can't help you locate one.
Go to your local Kawasaki dealer and order one.
Contact Kawasaki to locate a dealer, or maybe they will allow you to buy from them.
