Bike Lock Combo? |
I found a bike lock I had bought last year, it has a four digit code and I can't get it. How would I go about going through all the possible combos? I have tried the whole pressure-pull thing, and it isn't working. Cheap @$$. Just buy a lock and give the one you 'found' back to it's owner. if someone had the answer to that. there would be alot of stolen bikes if you make a list of the numbers between 1 and 10,000, that will be all of the possibilites. It is that simple. 0000 0001 0002 0003 0004 0005 0006 0007 0008 0009 0010 0011 0012 0013 0014 0015 0016 0017 0018 0019 0020 0021 0022 0023 0024 0025 0026 0027 0028 0029 0030 0031.......................etc... .......all the way to ........9995 9996 9997 9998 9999 The same thing has happened to me in the past. It is tedious, but possible. Get a piece of paper and write down the possible combinations. Example: 0000, 0001, 0002, 0003............2456, 2457, 2458 ........9997, 9998, 9999. Each time you try one cross it out so you don't try it again. This is the only way I know of. If you get flustered put it down and start later. Good luck! Or just buy another lock if you have the money. chances are that its somewhat near what the original code was but not too much, you know what i mean? like usually when people scramble their locks, there is a very slight change, but yeah. so if yo can remember what the numbers were at, try combos in that range first |
