Best kind of bike lock to buy?

whats the best type of bike lock to buy

anyone with a 5 star rating on it is the best. U locks are popular because they are easy to transport and very tough, but the weaknesses is that you cant protect everything from being stolen, ie, wheels or seats. Onguard has a nice ulock that also has a cable so you can thread everything through it, protecting everything.
you do not want a combination lock, because any idiot can open it.
awhile back, i saw a locking quick release skewer in i think bike nashbar. Most locking skewers are only for transporting the bike in the bed of a truck or roof rack, but this actually went onto the bike and could be ridden on.
i have a simple onguard chain lock that i use eveywhere. its a 5 star rating and guaranteed and its easy to justify spending $100 on a lock when youre locking up a $2000 bike.
