How do i reset the combo on my Kryptonite Cable RCL I Bike lock?


My daughters bike is stuck with this combo cable lock on it.
We have tried and tried to get it to release with the correct combo in place.

Anyone have any ideas?

In order to reset it, it must be open.

Grab the ends of the combination tumbler ans twist it. Set the numbers as desired, return the ends to their proper position, and you are done.

I would suggest that you try the last 4 digits social security numbers, birthdays, phone numbers, addresses, and stuff like that. Make sure the numbers align with the mark on the tumbler. If you are lucky enough to get it open then reset it to something more easily remembered.

Otherwise, it means cutting the cable. Sorry.
try the combos number by number if u got at least one number right then it should feel a bit looser
