Should I tell the police? |
My bike was in my friend's garage and her brother's friend's figured out the garage door won't lock and came in and rode my bike, put duck tape all over, which left marks, and put these weird streaming things in the tires so I couldn't ride it. They messed up the seat so it came all the way off. Should I contact the police? We have two living in our neighborhood. The boys who did this have a record of doing other things of the same nature. Yes! In some states the police can make a report so that you can take the report to small clams court and request that the guys reimburse you for the bike. But make sure that you at least have seen them or someone else seen them. Other wise, its' your word against theirs. Good luck. Perhaps they will talk to the little delinquents parents. i see no reason NOT to. of corse you should call the police. thats destruction of personal property and tresspassing on personal property. |
