How do i bust open a U-lock? |
I lost all my keys recently and on them was the key to my U lock, its locked in my garage to my bicycle and i can't now ride my bicicle until i can get it off. also i have no spare key what to do??? If it's a Kryptonite lock oftentimes they are able to send you a replacement key. You could at least call them and find out before you bust the lock! call a locksmith. Chainsaw? Use a hacksaw. take a hammer to the t bar bir around were it joins the u bend bit and hit it real hard How did you lose your keys? Maybe you're just not looking hard enough. Or maybe go to a locksmith maybe they'll have a key. Or why don't you go buy another one and use the key from that? get an extremely got liter and turn it on. Then, slowly hold the flame up to the part that is locked. (try not to burn the garage door.) then, hold it there for a while and it should melt it if it is hot enough. |
