Can you bump start a 2 stroke bike with a completely dead battery?

Last night I accidently left the lights on and the battery was completely dead. I have a Suzuki RGV 2 stroke with a kick start, even though I knew the battery was dead I tried to kick start it just to see if it would work, well it didn't. I ended up using jumper leads from the car. I figured push starting would have the same effect as kick starting it, is this right? Can you push start the bike even when you can't kick start it??

yes
t is usually easier to jump start a 2 stroke bike then kick start it
especially if you start on the top of a hill

No,it wont go!
it is easy to bump a 2 stroke, but,if the battery is fully dead, how you planning on getting the coilpack to do its job!
It needs some battery power to get it going

I don't know if that particular bike is injected. Fuel Injection needs a pressurized fuel line and needs the power to spin up the fuel pump.

However, more often than not, even a FJ bike can be bump started if there's enough power to spin the pump up and put at least a little pressure on the line.

But yes, if it's a carbed bike, you should have no problems at all. You may just need a bit more speed than what simply kick starting it is giving. Rolling down a small hill or running up to 8mph beside it before kicking it into gear kind of thing.
