Problem with my HID's / lights, repost Please help me!?

I have an 03' GSX-R 1000 and while I was riding I noticed that one of my headlights was out.

They are both supposed to be on all the time because there is an aftermarket HID system installed on the bike. At the post office I found that if I turned the bike on both lamps would ignite, but soon after the bottom one would rapidly flicker and then go out, but if I got the bike started before the bulb went out everything was fine and stayed on.

After I got home I turned the key off and on a few times and the flicker didn't happen till around the 5th try. Either the bulb in the headlight, or the mph display / tach. lights would flicker and then the headlight would go out.

I'm almost sure it's a loose connection but I wanted to get your take, I'm not sure how the HID's are hooked up, nor am I sure how old the battery is, but I don't have a voltage warning on my display.

sorry for the repost, need more answers, thanks!

check all connections especially from the ballasts to the bulbs, and the grounds on the ballasts

Maybe the aftermarket HID crapped out.
Electrical stuff is like that - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Remove it and wire the headlight normally, to see if that clears up the problem.

maybe you need to buy an other aftermarket hid system
