Engine problems on 99 kawasaki vulcan 1500? |
So me and some friends went on a ride sunday and right before I filled up with premium for the second time in a row. The bike, as always, ran great. Monday morning I suddenly found the bike losing power, the engine oil light coming on and at times it would die. After work I made it home and noticed the oil extremely low so I topped it off, but it still has the same problems. I don't think it has the problem in neutral, but I haven't had much of a chance to check that out since my bike is loud and I don't want to piss off the neighbors (yet). Any ideas on what it might be? The nylon cog on your oil pump has been damaged. |

That would be pretty hot!! :) ...Motorcycles have a simpler charging system than cars. When you turn your key off in a car, the alternator is seperated from the battery.
