Best 125cc or 33BHP motobike's?

Im coming up 17 soon so i will be able to get a 125cc, but hopefully im going to in for my A1 light test so i will be able to ride a bike of 33bhp any sugestions on which bike's are the best and most pleasent to ride?

dtr125 or xt125 for the 125s
or you can get a 400cc bandit which is a very good first bike

if you do your A1 light test you will be restricted to 125 CC, no matter what its BHP is, to ride up to 33BHP you need to do the A2 test, its the same as the A category test but as your under 21 then this is what you take. I'm 17 in May and im on a 50 at the moment and going to do my A2 when old enough as i have bought a honda CB250 RS. any honda CB250 is a good start, good economy with about 80 ish miles to the gallon, look on ebay, you can get good ones for a few 100 quid, cheap to insure, ive had a quote for the CB250 RS at 拢250 fully comprehensive. other good bikes are the suzuki GSX250 (the 250 version of a bandit) and yamaha 250's are just as good, hondas are known for reliability but lack speed, tops about 70 or for the RS its about 90. remember if you do your A1 test you will be stuck on a 125 for the rest of your life unless you do your full category A test

i think someone already said you must do your a2 test when passed i think the new kawasaki ninja 250 looks pretty hot although when i done my i had a superdream while my bro had a er5 with a 33bhp kit but be warned anything with a kit can mess up fueling and performance

got a cagiva mito 125cc with a 33bhp kit , rapid im 18 and goin for my test this september before the new laws come in hand. im riding a vespa px 125 and she flys now race exthust 170 bore kit it a proper old dazzler. lol just be carefull on tha road.

One thing to consider is that you will be stung by insurance at 17 so you might find a 125 the better approach, YZF125s look good and the DT125 has been a learner's favourite for years depends on your height and build.
