Constant headache on motorcycle!? |
I always have a headache when im on a motorcycle. Whether im riding my bike or a friends. In the city or in the backroads, or highway. Its always a light headahce between my eyes on the forehead. Is this from CO2? I also notice that this happens in the winter mostly, could it be from the constant cold air? I also do not have headaches any other time and i was fully hydrated and had eaten. You might wanna try ear plugs and see if that helps. I've seen alot of people use them while ridding. If it's mostly in the cold, it's your sinuses. "Ice cream headache". Happens to me in the winter, starts in the cheekbones. I had one too I tried a gazillion different helmets and thought it was me UNTIL>> I tried on a BELL helmet. I doubt Carbon Dioxide is the issue. It could be nerves, allergies, or any number of things. I used to have a headache riding my bike but I divorced her! I would try a bigger helmet or a different helmet. Wear sunglasses. Not trying to be a wise guy but is your helmet the right size? Try Botox. I am not kidding. It sounds like you are getting a tension type headache from furrowing your brows. It's gonna cost you but it should last for a few months. They do this for migraines at the back of the neck. Eye strain belive it or not Do you wear a helmet with a visor or a full face I agree with the poster about your eyes being messed up. Some of the plastic shields or windscreens may have ripples and distortions that can cause you problems. I ride with a full face helmet and I find that at certian angles it messes with my vision. Also I find that because I wear glasses and when I wear my sunglasses the visor messes up my vision. If you wear a helmet it might be that it doesn't fit right. Try a different style, brand or if your state allows you to choose, try not wearing a helmet and see if you still have the problem. Do you wear glasses or sunglasses while riding? I had a pair of sunglasses that fit too tight and I use to get mild headaches. I got different sunglasses and the problem went away. I don't think it is from CO2. There's an awful lot of fresh air on a bike. I don't think you could inhale enough to cause a problem. If you try some of the suggestions made and still have a problem you might want to have a doctor check you over. you must be riding a h-d it will give anybody a headache |
