what did you mean by replace the jug, what is a jug? It has around 50 thousand miles on it. can I ride it this summer without fixing the piston slap and do it in the winter?

Question two. I replaced the tire last week and the rear break pads. Is it normal for the new pads to press so hard on the disk that the rear tire won't move even nutrul?

Three: Now that I think of it, the nutral light does not go on in nutral, - where should I look to fix that.

Brakes that won't release - the caliper needs to be rebuilt.
Gunk builds up under the seal causing the seal to press on the piston, not allowing it to return.

The "jugs" (cylinders) on that engine are not replaceable - they're part of the crankcase.
An entire engine dis-assembly is required to bore the cylinders.
Very expensive - even if you "could" find someone willing to do the job.

"Neutral light" doesn't go into neutral?
Do you mean the transmission won't shift to neutral?
Transmission repair - another big job - total engine dis-assembly.
Or do you mean the neutral light won't come on when you shift to neutral?
May need a neutral light switch, or neutral light bulb.

It's possible. Use a screw driver as a stethescope. Press the handle to your ear and touch different areas of the engine with the tip. Report It

Yes, Jugs are cylinders...

but if you didn't know that the cylinders were replaceable, I'd doubt you want to mess with it...

get a new engine, or have it rebuilt by a professional. it will be less stress for you, and you can be assured it will run...

1. The "Jugs" are the cylinder's
2. without the foot on the brake, the tire should move freely
3. Start with the easiest first, check the bulb. I have had them go out.
