I am 57. Wish to purchase and ride for the first time heavy Royal Enfield bike. Is it dangerous to do it ?

I learnt to ride motor bike four years ago, on a routine Bajaj calibre, light weight bike. Did biking for few months only. No previous experience of handling heavy bike. I am medium built.

The Royal Enfield is a lovely bike and does not respond like modern high rev bikes so is fairly sedate in comparison. It also has a fairly low centre of gravity so is not a balance problem for your build. Just remember you are NOT an Isle of Man TT racer. Enjoy and good riding! Incidentally, I'm sixty and still ride!
