What should I eat before running in the morning?

I'm going to start getting up early tomorrow biking up to my local gym which is about a 8 min. trip run for 25 min., do a light workout with the weights then bike home.

Nothing or should I eat an apple or something.

ALWAYS eat before you run
consider this:
your body is like a car
cars need fuel to run
your body needs fuel(energy/carbs/food) to run
so definitely eat before you run or else you will feel terrible during your run

try eating an hour-and hour and a half before your workout

make sure to drink plenty of fluid, you dont want to dehydrate

before i run i always eat a banana and half of a peanut butter sandwich
it might sound a little weird to wat a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast, but the peanut but is really good before you run

Personally I'd eat a banana, they're very healthy, and light but at the same time tasty.

apple or banana, something light. DO NOT go before eating.

eat something with protein. try a protein shake or something to give you some energy.

I usually go with a energy bar, a couple of sips of gatorade, and water.

I'm fond of 1/2 a Clif bar, but really just eat something that you know won't bother you during your run/workout

try an apple, banana, shake, smoothie, cliff bars, or luna bars. sometimes i dont eat anything when i'm in a hurry but that might not be a great idea.
