Will David Cameron get into trouble with the police over his cycling?

When Jeremy Clarkson was captured on his phone by a member of the public it was passed to the police who had to investigate.

So David Cameron, was caught going through red lights etc will this footage be passed to the police too?

Okay 'I know he was only on a bike' BUT the law is the law, he was caught fair & square and you cannot choose which laws (even the minor ones) which you want to obey.

dave is an old etonian

dave is leader of the tories

will dave get into trouble?

not a chance

Yes he should be held to account for his actions. I will never vote for that man. Something about him creeps me out.

I doubt it. I will leave Britain the day he gets in power.

i hope he does, its was absolutely stupid and he should at least get a visit from the boys in blue. In fact i am advocating that we get cyclists to have Insurance and to have a licence, because most and i mean most are a danger, to themselves, and to pedestrians, by doing just what Cameron did, going over red lights, and cycling on pavements. and i used to cycle so i am not just being pedantic.

rovers fan - i wasn't being vile to you, so why the abuse.

I doubt it. I will leave Britain the day he gets in power. Teddy, you aren't being pedantic, you are being an arrogant *****. Cyclists need to survive on the streets, car drivers don't

I hope not, as they should have more important issues to resolve.

He should get into trouble he's a typical Tory , preaches one thing does another.

i hope so, he is holding the conservative party back.

If that is the worst the press can come up with on him then I'm not too bothered. A cyclist that obeys all the rules in London would probably be dead in a week.

its no big deal. cycling should be encouraged. going through red lights is just a cyclists little quirk. its a British thing.

It does seem a big fuss over nothing. I used to cycle in central London and there are times you have to be a bit naughty to stay alive ie, getting ahead of cars at a traffic lights if turning right , not being able to stay at the edge of roads due to parked cars etc (Charing Cross Road going down to Cambridge Circus for example). I do think that if you are using a bike for a living ie, curiors, their employers should have to have insurance due to the pressure put on them to get places quickly with no thought to their comfort or safety.

I cycled round London for nearly 5 years at different times day and night. Late at night is great. Most of the City of London is empty. I used to bomb down Fleet Street and pray the lights at the bottom were green and then coast up Ludgate Hill and often not see another car but installed an air horn for cycling during the day. It's pedestrians that caused most of my problems - stepping off the pavement, making me swerve into the path of a car. With an airhorn, it makes them jump so high that you just sail under them and was safe! - till I got told off for having an 'illegal horn'!

I don't like Cameron but if this is the worst they can come up with then they are really scraping the barrell!

he should get in trouble , but he wont, there are no laws for them.
