I can't get my headlight to work on my bike? |
I hooked up passing lamps to my bike and now the headlight won't work nor the passing lamps. the rest of the lights on the bike work even after I unplugged the wires. I checked the fuses and there o.k. I checked for the hot wire and no power is going to the harness for the headlight. any ideas? You need to check from the harness back.. In other words are you getting power to the harness? If not trace it back towards the battery until you find power. Once you find power, it shouldn't be to hard to find out where your loss is coming from. check fuses. Looked in my crystal ball, but the picture of your bike wasn't clear enough to se if it was a Harley or a Honda. loose wires or fuses PROBABLY THE BULBS ARE OF GREATER CAPACITY THE BIKE CAN AFFORD OR U MIGHT BE USING FUSED BULBS For future reference, always give year, make engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer. |
