My motorbike died as i went to pull away, it started then died again keepd concin out now it wont work at all? |
i have an imported dajiang 125, 4 stroke, checked carb, its got air and compresin, and a spark, tryd new coil and spark plug, egnision, wiring and checked for erosion, thought it could have been the cdi but just been told the electrics wudnt work at all if the cdi was at falt, it wont coughf it tiks over but wont start, i was messing around with the bake brake light near the rectifier n the cdi i got about 10 meters n it just stoped working the bike has had the same problem befor av pushed it from a few places apart from the thought ov scrapin it anybody got any idears???? thanks Put some petrol in it. Partial fuel line blockage IF you can get the bike to start(with fuel, good battery, clean filter, and good spark plug), and then as soon as you release the clutch it cuts out, then it could be a problem with either the clutch switch or sidestand switch.( presuming your bike has both or either). Sounds like you have everything but fuel. Take out spark-plug and see if it is wet(fuel) Check tank for fuel. You need three thngs for running. 1. fuel 2.compression. 3. spark at the right time. Try those and comeback. Cass i had the same prob with my bike and after striping it down a littel it turned out 2 be s**t in the carb and a well bloked fuel fillter My first guess was fuel. Another check to include is a kinked fuel line. If the tank has been off then the hose may be trapped / not properly connected, etc. |
