Looking for a solid all-mountain bike for aggressive new school trail riding and maybe some light stunts. Want to keep cost reasonable.
It is a pretty even split between the two. Coiler might be a bit heavier (stronger). Check out the reviews from mtbr.com - 132 reviews for the Coiler vs. 14 for the Mongoose. Coiler fairs a bit higher on the review average.

Mongoose's Teocali is their copy of the Specialized SX Trail, so it is not too bad of a freeride bike. The Kona Coiler is also not a bad freeride bike, but I would recommend the Kona over the Mongoose, because it looks better! Just my opinion, but the two bikes are very equal in capabilities. Go out to a dealer and try them out and choose for yourself, it is the only way! Good Luck!
