Why is it always a car? |
Have any of you noticed that people who are trying to turn their headlights on as they approach the speed of light are always driving a car? It's never a bike, motorcycle, or locomotive. Is there are reason for that? Are all these people trying to replicate the same experiment? I would guess that we use a car,because we all know what they are. We also know that cars have headlamps located on the front. We further know that the light is projected so as to illuminate the area in front of the car. What we DON'T know, is how to get one of them to move at C...No, not even your best chevvy. Source(s): innate humor What!? Not sure of your source -- I have heard thought experiments using two trains approaching the speed of light, and whether or nor their lanterns would appear different, tons of times. personal experience Planes may be faster, but they don't have headlights!!! Although your case for a motorcycle might work! headlights produce a negative trust and aren't fuel efficient. |
