Cute experiences in Japan!!?

Walking through a park and some little kids called out "Herro!" and waving. I smiled and said "herro" back. cute. then one called out "say something in English" so I replied in English "what do you want to hear?" they were all amazed at my wonderfull english speaking skills. lol. They younger ones were like "wow, he could understand our Japanese! awesome! The "older" boy (probably about 8) was like, "of course, hes been studing"
CUTE!
5 minutes later I was waiting at the traffic lights. A little boy and his littler sister were are on bikes. The button said "furete kudasai" it was a touch button, not a push button. We waited for a while until I realised the boy hadnt touched the button yet. I said "are you able to touch that button for me?" he did and it went green right away. He looked at his little sister before riding off "wow, that guy really knows what hes talking about!"
CUTE!!
Please share with me some cute experiences you have in Japan! I love to hear of others fun times!!

one day at the nursery school, my husband and kids were taking off shoes. some kids came from play ground and said to my husband 'are you gaijin?' in japanese. he said 'no, im not gaijin. im anpanman. dont you know that?' (my husband is black lol)
they all laughted laughed laughed... even teachers laughed sooo hard.
at the beginning teachers were so nervous and didnt know what to do. later almost all kids came to my husband and said 'carry me! carry me!' he said ' get in the line. ill carry all of you,' some kids checked my husband's hand and said 'your skin is black but palm.' they just dont have gaijin friend and neighbor. kids are good at accept new things. some gaijin get angry so easily but not my husband.
kid doesnt look on somebody with a prejudiced eye.
but later some kids changed. because their parents doesnt like black so much. same things happened in the us too.

my baby boy can pee by himself. but he still want to go bathroom with me. and i have to wait for him to finish.
one day, he went for a pee with me. after pee i got inside and closed the door. he thought little bit and said 'i have to wait for you, mom?' he's so cute. lol

i do love kids. i have loooots of good experiences. n_n
I used to teach kids. We had students as young as 3. Some of their experiences in class were cute. I had this one student who got very attached to a stuff animal dog in my class. Every week he wouldn't let it out of his hands.
Nice q.
none that cute, but i still recall the days i visited Japan as a sailor many times when i was younger and all the fun i had taking in the culture and sights.....enjoying the delicious foods and awesome shopping...... :-)
In the late 70's i was in the Marine Corps stationed at
Iwakuni Japan. I meet a Japanese couple who had a small
son who was just over 1 years old. Every year, Iwakuni
air station is open for a day for people to see the Military
aircraft, vehicles, etc. It's called friendship day .That day, i was
near a large hangar, taking pictures of the aircraft, and the
people. It was a little warm, so i decided to buy a soda and
hot dog from a nearby vendor. There was a good amount of
people around the hangar, so i decided to sit near the side
of the hangar that had part of it's door closed. As i was resting
there, the couple and son came by, and sat near me. We
exchanged hellos, and they sat down and attended to their
son. After a few minutes, the father picked up his son and
held him. After a few minutes, he came over to me and
gestured to me about holding his son. I nodded yes, and then
he put is son in my lap. The little one was tired, and in a
matter of minutes fell asleep as i held him. The couple
then gestured did i want a picture of him and i together, and
of course i nodded yes. After about 15-20 minutes the
mother came for her son, thanked me for holding him, and
then they left. Years later, i still remember that day......
