Designated as Bus Rapid Transit it should not result in condominiums but should be used as park and ride/ bus car park and paired with a route traversing nearby Citrus Rd. closed to autos & currently maintained as a bike trail by Sacramento County on one of the most congested corridors in a 6 county area. Electric trolley or bus would shuttle commuters to the Sunrise Light Rail station only one half mile distance by passing underneath highway 50 and arriving within 5 minutes to Sunrise light rail station. Sale of this property seems to violate RT's stated Values/purposes and simultaneously will render useless an expensive bridge abuttment over the American River designed to carry a light rail car. 5000 residences and businesses exist in this 25 yr old area between the river and the highway with NO bus service.
