Is this a healthy diet? |
breakfast; cereal bar lunch; dannon activia almonds fruit(apple or,plum or nectarine etc.) snack; 2 sticks celery; 1 tbs light cream cheese dinner; turkey sandwich ( 1 bread, 1 cheese, 1 turkey slice, lettuce) exercise includes things such as bike ride or running or playing volleyball; crunches on stability ball; leg resistence training, etc. by the way; I am 15 Your diet looks pretty good, but I would definitely add more fruits and veggies and some more protein, especially with breakfast. Your first meal should be your biggest meal of the day because it helps to kick start your metabolism. A variety of veggie color is good, too, because it means you're getting a better range of vitamins. Are you trying to lose weight or just maintain what you have? The important thing is that you're nourished well and that you burn more calories than you put in. Just don't deprive yourself a little splurge every now and again so that you don't go overboard in a moment of weakness. Dark chocolate is a good treat to work into your diet in small doses. Hope this helps! You need to eat just a little more. Your body needs food to burn more calories. Exercise is very important too. You are definitely on the right track I would just eat a little bit more. i think your'e eating too little and not enough protein... and where is the water in this diet of yours? lol. Sounds great! i wish I could eat that healthy! You're not eating nearly enough, and almost no protein. Triple what you're eating Yes, but are you getting enough calories? I would need more of each (except celery which has no calories). The exercise program you have is great, but you may not be eating enough unless you are trying to lose weight from a former bad diet. If you feel weak after exercising, try eating boiled egg whites. It is pure protein which your muscles need in order to rebuild after resistance training. unless your really overweight and on a diet , you need to eat more |
