2006 gsxr 600?

Last year i laid my bike down, nothing major all minor scratches and dings, but i did bend the break pedal. Since then, the break light has stayed on constant, i kept riding through the rest of the season but would like to get it fixed now. Dos anyone know where the sensor might be, or what else might be causing this.

The brake pedal pulls a thin gauge wire spring, which activates the switch. The switch is adjustable. If you can't get the light to turn off by adjusting the switch, unplug the switch. The brake light should turn off. Then squeeze the front brake to see if that switch is working properly. It may have gotten damaged in the fall.
To test if the rear switch works, unplug the front brake light switch and activate the rear switch while it's pluged in.
you may need new rearsets vortex are good but pricey
or get the original rearsets. i believe the sensor is right
behind the rear brake pedal.
just the right side may be bent
The pressure sensor that turns on the rear light is included in the hydraulic cylinder that is moved by the brake pedal. You can open it , check the microswith and purge it. If still not working you need to change the sensor or the whole brake cylinder
