I'm looking for small(not pocket Rockets or really small) motor bikes that will be under $1000 with taxes. |
I saw one up at my local TSC store and was wondering if anyone had any othrs they knew of, or a list or site ,but I'm also tring to find one that can be used on the street(not even legal,lol) but have head lights and I'll need the CC of the engine and the tank capacity,not looking for Electric. please reply here and in an E-mail at currinbrandon@yahoo.com You can get some reasonable used motorcycles in that price range, especially if you wait until October or November. I would be shocked if you would be able to find something with more than 50 cc's for less than 1000$ new. I'd check craigslist.com for your city for used bikes. If you are going to be riding in traffic you'll want to make sure that it is street legal. You probably don't want to be arrested for reckless driving. I would suggest going to a site like craigslist: http://www.craigslist.org and selecting your area and looking for what you want. I am doubting you will find a decent bike that can be used on the street for under $1000. But on the other hand, if you are mechanically inclined, you may be able to pick up a broken bike and restore it. If you elect to go this route be sure and exercise caution and lots of patience. I have seen smaller bikes for cheaper, but they are not much larger than a pocket bike, and probably would not satisfy you. |
