Bicycle laws bay point ca helmet lights etc?
in Ca the laws say that if you are under 18 you have to use a helmet properly, from dusk to dawn you have to have working head lights and tail lights the instructions on the box with the lights will tell you how to put them on correctly. also you are usually not allowed to ride on sidewalks unless there is a bike lane marked on them. also a person riding a bike is considered a vehicle so you have to obey all traffic laws, so you cant ride you bike in a cross walk, if you want to cross the street you have to walk or get in a lane of traffic that is going straight and go when the light turns green. |
