Where can I find bicycle tail lights made by Avenir? Oh, well, first off, Avenir doesn't make anything at all. They are a "Re-Brander" and just put a selection of already-made products under their brand name. Avenir is contracted to Raleigh/Diamondback/Gazelle and are pretty much all wrapped up. You might find such lights available at your Raleigh or Diamondback dealer. Botranger may also have similar lights. However, Serfas makes some of the best LED lights, including taillights, especially a little areodynamic pill looking thing that has tail AND side lights. There's also no shame in using the blinding red Bell Wal-Mart edition led taillight. That sucker is bright, light weight and lasts a great long time on the batteries. Sorry to have to tell you about substitutes, but Avenir is very elusive. So I'd suggest either the brainy Serfas brand lights or go to your Raleigh dealer and beg for the Avenir. When looking for any "Re-Brander" product, just look through all of the options/substitutes until you find one that looks identical. It probably is identical. |
