Why don't people have lights on their bicycles when it is dark? |
It's really annoying when you are driving as you can't see them until they get close. Agreed. They must be utterly stupid. They seem to have the impression that wearing safety gear (lights, helmet, high-vis jacket) is uncool. No doubt they'd try to blame you if you hit them. Because most people don't ride bikes at night. Only idiots do that. Because they have no common sense. Especially the young ones they think they can just ride out in front of your car and you,ll just stop for them. Why i don,t know who do they think they are ! OH MY GOD i know!!! the amount of bikes I've bumped into! it's like...... WEAR A FLUORESCENT JACKET damn you! By law they are supposed to. Either battery powered or by wheel powered generater. coz they are stupid and want to be hit by a car so then can sue you! mostly though its not cyclists that are serious about riding! If there's no punishment then you can't expect anything else. My son received a fine more than 15 yrs ago for not having lights on his bike and quite right too, but now you can get away with mugging and murder....... thanks to Mr Blair |
