Should i keep exercising, even if i see late results? |
Sup guys, i use to be in healthy shape like 4 years ago, when i use to play a-lot with friends, eat nutritious food, etc.. But for the past years, i've been over-weight. because of lacking in exercise, being lazy, eating junk food like pizza, friend stuff and all that, and the only exercise i am getting is saturdays or sundays when my dad takes me to play tennis for a few hours My current weight is 275.5 lbs 6'2 19 y/o My body is mostly fat, i do 15 pound dumbels but that's once in a while. Basically, i decided to start eating nutritios food, like for example Cereal ( like Honey Bunches of Oat or CornFlakes) for breakfast, with a bannana. For lunch; an apple, something healthy my mom makes like string beans, brockly, or beans with lots of lettuce and salad. For dinner; a light soup form meal with carrots I've been also doing 50 min exercise daily with the bicycle machine i have at home and ldrinkin lotta water. but after a wk, i still feel fat, and am thinking of quitting. Don't quit it takes more time to appear for some than others. When you DO see it, it will have been worth the wait. If nothing else it will make your heart and body healthier and you will live longer with less illnesses and ailments, especially in your old age. You simply have a better quality of life. The visual results will come though. Also you may want to have a single consultation with a personal trainer...it is possible that you are doing the wrong exercises for you or that you are doing them wrong. Keep on dude! the bicycle machine sucks, your not gonna lose weight or enjoy running on a treadmill or a bicycle so dont even bother. if your 6'2 you need to play baskteball or baseball, even if you suck just play, plenty of guys suck, u can just grab rebounds and run up and down the court. as far as weights go, just use light weights and workout for maybe a half hour a couple times a week. now for the diet-----dont diet too much, you will get sick of not eating..........try eating sushi, tuna fish, grilled chicken, the occasional treat like a chocalate bar or some taco bell or quiznos. also try other sports like swimming or tennis.I used to be 275 lbs and 5'11 when I ate nothing but complete junk and didnt work out at all(i played basketball but that was it). Im down to 225 now due mostly to dieting(i still eat alot of food and occasionally fast food....but slightly healthier). Weightlifting a few times a week is very important!!!!! hit those weights dude ur 6'2 so what.. u got height |
