it is perfectly legal (infact encouraged to keep traffic flow) for bikes to filter (queue jump) in the uk. My pet hates, ignorant arrogant car drivers who say 'Sorry didnt see him...' when the bike was light up like an xmas tree and the rider wearing bright reflective clothing.. on yer phone was ya mate????? Damn straight! I can't believe when car drivers pull into the gap in a traffic jam, simply to stop the motorcycle they see approaching from filtering through. The benefit of a motorbike is it's size and nimbleness. Let them get on! Make a happier world! If a car is in a jam, it's stuck, but it won't get anywhere faster by being nasty to bikers...! The benefit of a car is that the passengers stay dry and cosy. If a biker is caught in a downpour, do you see him open every car's sunroof just so everyone else has to get wet too? No! People who hate 'immigrants' but want to move to Spain and open a chippy. My pet hate about drivers is people who dirve to work or take your kids to school and complain about the traffic and polution levels and then say things like " is was quicker to walk"! Well why dont you then and do us all a faiver!!!! Twats!!! If everyone was on motorbikes or bicycles then there wouldn't be half the congestion there is nowadays, perfectly within your rights to queue jump I'd say. |
