Tire Paint 06 gixxer? |
A guy pulled up to my bike at a stop light and I noticed his tires were Bridgestones with white letters but he poped a wheelie out of there so fast, I couldn't ask him how he got them white. My Friend said it's white wall paint. Has anyone ever seen or done this if so where did you buy the paint and whats the process I have seen it and used it. I picked it up off ebay just to try it out. It is basically an oil based paint found in paint pens. You can buy paint pens for half the price at an office supply store. http://www.rangerpaint.com has whitewall tire paint. You can apply it directly to the tire and letters accordingly. Some are made like that, you use whitewall cleaner to keep them clean. personally i hate whitewalls or raised white letters on tires, but its upto you. Auto parts stores. The stuff I saw looked like a crayon, For touching up scuffed whitewalls and raised white letter tires. Firecracker gave the correct answer. It's called a "tire lettering pencil" They come in different colors. I use a yellow one for wheel truing. |
