Hi everyone I just put a fender eliminator on my bike and it doesn't light up the license plate. Has anyone been hassled by, or received a ticket from, the police in the U.S. for that? Thanks!
I have a fender eliminator kit on mine and they have never gave me any trouble. I will watch out now though.
Mine have always worked, but you can get a ticket for it. If your light does not work then the cop supposedly can not call in your plate. But if he is close enough to read it, his lights will be on it at night and ..... well you get my point. But yeah a cop can ticket you for it.
Man, you better get that resolved. I'm not saying cops will mess with you, but you and I both know that you must have a light on your plate. Like I always say "the best chance to take is none at all".
