How much is a 93 Honda CBR 600 that is not running but is in otherwise decent shape, worth? |
The bike has 21000 miles, some light damage on the plastic throughout, but is a decent looking bike from a few feet away. It last ran, albeit roughly, about 6 months ago. It was sitting in the garage and I noticed it was leaking some oil. I didn't do anything about it then but then this weekend I took it out and put some fresh gas in it and the gas leaked out of the bike. Any ideas on what this could be? Your carbs are majorly gunked up, floats are stuck and its pissing fuel. Go to the local yamaha shop and buy their carb cleaning solution. I dont recall what its called, but you put it in the carbs and let it sit for the night then drain. Nothing works better or easier. You dont have to disassemble the carbs with this stuff. As far as what the bikes worth right now: not much scuffed body and non running maybe $500. I actually sold it for $1000, thanks 600 dollars tell the guy you will give him a hundred bucks and make sure you get the title or move on to a bike that runs anything that does not run is garbage and you donot know how much time and money you will have to spend to make it run i know you will spend more then it is worth unless you have another one for parts and you will still have junk because it is not a bike that anyone wants dont waste your time it scrap metal i said $250 if you find a sucker...............sell it for scrap, it's out dated!!!!!! |
